Originally from New York, Wayne came to Christ at university while studying ocean engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Following a short stretch with the US Department of Defense in Washington, D.C., Wayne moved to Scotland in 1991 to work with students and youth at Carrubbers Christian Centre in Edinburgh. At the “Heart of the Royal Mile” Carrubbers is a growing and developing church community with a vision to see lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ – life by life. In 1996, Wayne became the Senior pastor of Carrubbers where he has had a long-term Bible teaching and discipling ministry throughout the United Kingdom and beyond. Wayne is married to Sarah and has two daughters (Rachel and Naomi), one son-in-law (Murray), and a bichon frise (Ruby)!
