The Board of Edinburgh Bible College are pleased to announce the appointment of Ramone McKenzie to succeed the current principal John Brand as he stands down in 2026.  For the past two years the College has been prayerfully seeking a replacement for John, who has served as Principal unstintingly since the College was founded in 2012.

Ramone currently serves as an elder of the Kirkcaldy Baptist Fellowship in Fife, alongside Rev David Greenaway. Ramone holds a Bachelor in Theology (BTh) and is currently completing his Masters degree (MTh) in 17th Century Scottish Church History. He is excited to be taking up the role of EBC Principal and using his ministry gifts and training.  He says, “I look forward to the challenge ahead and what the Lord chooses to do through the college as we move forward”

Taking up his position in August of this year, Ramone will be working as Vice-Principal alongside John for six months before taking up the role of Principal in its entirety. We look to the Lord for His blessing and provision for the College going forward under Ramone’s leadership.

EBC was established in 2012 under John Brand’s leadership, by a group of church leaders who saw a need for a grass roots, church based, strongly biblical training facility.  EBC graduates are now serving in several different countries around the world and there are currently some 45 registered students, about a third of whom are studying by distance learning and the others by involvement in online virtual classrooms.  Our Diploma students are mentored by their local church leaders.  Details of study options and courses available can be found on the College website at www.edinburghbiblecollege.co.uk

This great news. Surely, once tasked by God Almighty Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, tools for work is at his hand to provide him (Ramone). We pray that the entirety of the mission comes to pass. In addition, we thank Lord for Rev John Brand who trained many of us in Sudan on how serve word of God to people. May God bless him too.
