As a research physicist Adrian pursued his innate desire to know how things work; combining a PhD in Optoelectronics at Heriot-Watt University and R&D in Cambridge with the roles of student pastor and church elder, where he began to discover God’s invitation to serve in the local church.
As his passion to know, live and teach the Bible grew, friends and church leaders strongly encouraged both him and Heather to enter ‘full time’ ministry in 2004. A Faith Mission Bible College Diploma (DipTh, 2006), and a year working with churches in rural Derbyshire, preceded a transformative cross-cultural education at Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago (MDiv, 2010) that created a deeper understanding of the power of relational discipleship ministry.
Adrian returned to The Faith Mission Bible College as Vice Principal (2010-16) where he developed a curriculum for practical ministry skills and taught core elements of the diploma.
