Kerstin officially gave her life to Christ at the age of 13 but had already been a quiet believer several years beforehand. During her teenage years the Lord put a growing desire and passion for mission on her heart. This led her to being actively involved in mission outreach events, summer camps and mission committees over many years. Kerstin studied French and German and trained as Business Administrator. In her late 20s she moved with her husband Thorsten to Nottingham/England where she worked in various administrative roles for the NHS, the University of Nottingham and eventually for Africa Inland Mission. From 2008 – 2017 she served with her husband in Windhoek, Namibia, first in the role of Office Manager at Namibia Evangelical Theological Seminary (NETS), and later as trainer for admin staff as well as Academic Tutor. During this time, she also completed a Bachelor of Theology at NETS. Kerstin and Thorsten are Crosslinks mission partners who enjoy serving the Lord as a team. As a minister’s wife in England and Namibia Kerstin mainly supported Thorsten by offering pastoral care, discipling and mentoring believers as well as with numerous practical tasks.
