At Edinburgh Bible College (EBC), we prioritize ecclesial training over purely academic pursuits. Unlike institutions that operate in isolation, EBC is governed by a board of local church representatives and is bound by documents that ensure total accountability to the local church. This synergy ensures that “full-time” Diploma students are only accepted with the full agreement of their home leadership. Study Training Model |
A key component of our church-based training model is the integration of experienced practitioners. A large proportion of our teaching is delivered by church leaders and Christian workers who are active in their fields, ensuring our students learn from those with an “ecclesial mind.” For students living away from home, we mandate commitment to a local evangelical church during their studies. This ensures that even while pursuing a Bible College Diploma, students remain grounded in a worshipping community, preventing the common pitfall of academic detachment from local church life.
