We’re delighted to announce the latest addition to our amazing team of Adjunct Lecturers, Pastor Daniel Butt, of People’s Mission, South Shields, who will be teaching Hermeneutics (Bible Interpretation) in the new academic year.
Daniel has been the Pastor at People’s Mission, South Shields, since January 2020 and has international experience pastoring churches in Canada and the UK. He is originally from Canada and his wife Hannah is originally from Edinburgh, Scotland. They have three daughters and a son. Daniel believes there is a growing need for clear, Biblically sound teaching that seeks to apply the whole counsel of God to every area of life. Believing God’s Word is divinely inspired and transformative in power, Daniel is committed to providing clear Biblical teaching in a confused and fallen culture. Some of Daniel’s interests are in no particular order: gardening, learning conversational French, collecting antiquarian books and scenic walks. Both Daniel and Hannah are graduates of the Faith Mission Bible College (Edinburgh, Scotland) and Daniel holds a Master of Divinity (MDiv.) degree through ACTS Seminaries of Trinity Western University (Langley, BC, Canada).
