Open Door Day @ EBC
If you’re thinking of studying or preparing for some form of ministry, then why not come to our 2020 Open Door Day @ EBC on Thursday 6th February? Another Good Day at EBC
At EBC, our teaching is done by those whom we describe as Practitioners rather than Professionals. In other words, we recruit pastors, evangelists and other Christian workers who are actively involved in gospel work and can model passionate ministry to our students. We’re delighted that Rev Kieran Banks of Dedridge Baptist Church, Livingston, is one of our team, and this morning has been teaching Romans to some of our students.
A great start to the new session
We have just finished our first full week of the new session and have so much to be thankful for and encouraged by. We have 22 students now studying different courses with us onsite and another dozen or so doing online courses. God is so good!
Yesterday, for the first time, we had three classes running at the same time. The pictures show our Principal, John Brand, teaching Doctrine of Scripture to one group, while Heather Holdsworth teaches another group Spiritual Formation.
Practical Evangelism
It was great to have Joe Brown, an EBC Graduate, come back to teach some of our students a module in practical evangelism on Wednesday.
The New Session Starts with Record Numbers
What a great first full day of the new College year! More students onsite than we have ever had on one day at EBC. There’s room for more, so why not come and join us. Here are just some of the students with us today as we teach Spiritual Disciplines, Romans and Anthropology.

Our New Librarian
We are delighted to welcome Valerie Robertson to the EBC team as our part-time Librarian. Valerie, a member of Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh, has worked in various libraries, mainly in education.
