The fourth gospel is the subject of a series of nine one-hour classes, starting in mid-January, we will study the fourth gospel. Dealing briefly with introductory issues of authorship, date, recipients and purpose, and identifying the structure and themes of John’s Gospel, the majority of the course is spent in detailed expositions of selected passages from John’s Gospel with an emphasis on developing exegetical skills and the ability to move from text to biblical talk or sermon.
