Why EBC: QandAs
Today we are posting the first in a series of short videos of clips of interviews with students as we ask them why they chose to study with EBC and why they found it so profitable. Our students, current and former, are our best ambassadors, and we hope that their insights and experiences will help others who may be weighing up study options to consider what EBC has to offer. The full interviews from which the short clips are taken, can be found on the new Why EBC page of this site. More will come over the next days and weeks.
The Spiritual Leader and their Leisure
A quick reminder that this coming Monday sees the first of our short series of Pastoral Theology webinars, looking at different aspects of the spiritual leader’s life. In the first one, recently retired Pastor David Greenaway will be talking about The Spiritual Leader and their leisure.

New Trustee
We are delighted to welcome Rev Dr John Toller as a new Trustee and member of our Board of Directors.
John is from Dundee and came to faith while at school. He went on to study History at Dundee University, where he did a PhD and lectured for three years. He was called to the pastorate of Carnoustie Baptist Church, at that time a recent plant from Dundee Central Baptist, initially studying concurrently at the Scottish Baptist College in Paisley. He has served in Carnoustie since 2012, and is also involved as chaplain to the local football club. John is married to Jemma and they have three children.
We are indebted to all of our Trustees who freely and generously give of their wisdom, experience and time to provide governance for the College and support for the team.
Pastoral Theology Webinars
Our most popular module this term has proved to be Pastoral Theology in which we seek to prepare and equip spiritual leaders for local churches. We’re opening up the next section of the course by offering a series of webinars on subjects related to various aspects of the life of spiritual leaders – their walk with the Lord, their trials, their leisure time, their reading and study, and their families; all led by men with considerable experience. These zoom based webinars are open to all, though registration is required (here), and there is a cost of £20 for each. Why not register for one or more and also make them known to others. Contact us for more information.
