The last of our very successful seminars on Christian Ethics took place on Wednesday, when Dr Stuart Weir of Care, Scotland, spoke on Environmental Issues.   The videos of the seminar can be accessed here along with those of most of the other seminars, and you can download the mp3 recordings here.

The dreadful weather somewhat affected numbers at our latest Christian Ethics seminar, when Nigel Kenny of The Christian Institute spoke on the subject of Homosexuality.

Our Principal’s popular seminar is being held at Bellshill Baptist Church, North Lanarkshire, on Saturday 2nd March 2019.
The Bible in a Day seminar, written and presented by EBC’s Principal, Rev John Brand, has been well received in a number of churches in the UK.

The seminar is designed to give you a good grasp of the whole Bible, identifying the unifying theme of the Scriptures and seeing how all the various parts interconnect.  It is interactive, with lots of opportunity for questions and discussion, and full notes and a folder are supplied to all who attend.  You can find out more about the Bible in a Day seminar here, at the designated website.

John will be presenting the seminar on Saturday 2nd March at Bellshill Baptist Church, Neilson Street, BELLSHILL, North Lanarkshire  ML4 1RD

The seminar runs from about 10.00 – 5.00 and costs just £25

There was another good turnout yesterday for the second of our seminars on Christian Ethics. Our Principal was speaking on the relevance of God’s Moral Law and establishing some principles for correctly understanding and applying it in our lives today.

We had a great start to our series of seminars on Christian Ethics, with a really encouraging number of attenders from a variety of churches and an excellent presentation by David Nixon of Carrubbers on the subject of ‘Christian Ethics in a Sceptical World’.
