Church History

This course, taught by EBC’s Principal, Ramone McKenzie, offers the student a look at the foundations of the early Church, focusing on the first seven centuries of Church history. We will examine specific controversies that unfolded during this period and how the Church (universal) reacted through Councils issuing universal creeds (statements of faith) as to what they believed concerning the person of Christ.

Taught over zoom, so you can join wherever you are and whoever you are, the course will be taught on 20 Monday afternoons (1.00 – 3.00), through the autumn and spring terms, starting on September 28th.

You can audit the course – simply taking part, enjoying the teaching and online fellowship, and benefitting from lots of notes and materials, or you can submit assessments – completing an assignment for marking and gaining EBC study credits.

For auditing, the cost is £300; for assessments it is £400, and payment can be made in two instalments

You can download a Module Description here.  Registration is essential and can be done here.
